Kiwada Daiki Sensei Visit – October 5th, 2017

Hi Everyone,

On Thursday, October 5th, UTKC had the pleasure of hosting a seminar led by All-Japan Champion Kiwada Daiki Sensei. The seminar was followed by a godokeiko with Kiwada-Sensei and UTKC, in which several Ontario clubs were in attendance as well.

Kiwada-Sensei is renowned for being a team Champion during the 2009, and 2012 Kendo World Championships, along with having for won the 60th Annual All-Japan Kendo Tournament in 2012. He is also a Chuo Univerity Alumni, one of UTKC's sister dojos in Japan. 

We are very thankful to have had the opportunity to practice with, and learn from Kiwada-Sensei, and are likewise grateful to all those who attended and contributed towards making the event a success!
